TECH EXECUTIVE

Jani is a tech executive with a proven track record of growing and transforming regional and global businesses. With over 20 years of experience in sales and partnerships and more than 16 years as a people leader, Jani has spent the last 15 years at Google, leading key business functions in both Europe and the United States.

Jani is currently leading the Search Partnerships business where he spearheads the efforts to enable content creators to grow their businesses through Google’s monetization solutions. Previously, Jani led the Global Channel Partnerships business and prior to this gained valuable expertise with Google as the Head of Europe, Middle-East and Africa Business Development, Sales Manager of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Benelux and Russia and Sales Manager for Europe, Middle-East and Africa Emerging Markets. In Google Jani is a 7 x Winner of Gold and Platinum Awards

During the early stages of his career, Jani gained valuable marketing, sales and management expertise with companies such as Area Sales Manager for Bonnier Corporation and Marketing Manager for Eezy Flow (former Corporate Spirit Ltd.).

BOARD ADVISOR AND LEADERSHIP COACH

Jani is an experienced Board Advisor and has been in Advisory Boards for multiple companies demonstrating his ability to provide strategic guidance across diverse business environments. As Leadership and Business Coach Jani has several Coaching Certifications and he is a Certified Executive and Business Coach, Prosci Change Management Practitioner and NLP Practitioner. Jani is the Founder and CEO of Uuni and for the last 10+ years Jani has coached and mentored several leaders, athletes, CEOs, and entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. Jani is also the Founder of Kuuma which focuses on social media and niche lifestyle verticals.

COMMUNITY LEADER

Significant contributions to non-profit organizations highlight Jani's commitment to community development and organizational leadership excellence. Jani has been a leader in multiple non-profit organizations incl. Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Junior Chamber International (JCI) as President, Director, Board Member and Chairman of the Board. In JCI Jani was honored several times winning National and International Awards and he was elected as the 58th National President of JCI Ireland as the first non-Irish President in JCI Ireland history. Jani has been awarded a JCI life-time Honorary Membership for his accomplishments as JCI Senator and Honorary Award from Rotary as a Foreign Exchange Student in the US.

Strong academic credentials form the foundation for Jani’s expertise. Jani’s educational background includes 3 Master’s and 3 Bachelor's Degrees in International Business, Corporate Law and Political Sciences from the University of Turku and Turku School of Economics. Jani is also Six Sigma Black Belt and holds several Professional Certifications in AI, DEI, Management, Sales Management, Leadership and Strategy from USAII®, MIT, NASP, Stanford, Cornell, Wharton and Harvard. He is the member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and Certified Corporate Director (NACD.DC®). Jani completed his Military Service in Finland received and an Honorary Award from this.

ATHLETE

Jani is an ultra-marathon runner and triathlete having achieved multiple wins and podium finishes in his age group. In Ironman, Jani is 2 x Ironman All World Gold Athlete, ranking in the top 2% in his age group worldwide in Ironman. Similarly, as a World-Class Athlete and National Team Member in Taekwondo Jani is 7 x Finnish National Champion, 2 x Nordic Champion and winner of multiple International Championships and Athlete of the Year-Awards. Jani holds Coaching Certifications in USA Triathlon and USA Taekwondo and in NASM as Sports Nutrition Coach.

Jani is an Honored Listee in Marquis Who’s Who in America and Marquis Top Executives in America and his leadership has been recognized with several international awards incl. the Global Recognition Award™, Stevie® Award, Noble Award, TITAN Award and Global Leader Award. Jani has been featured in Forbes and Fast Company through his active leadership in the Forbes Business Development Council and Fast Company Executive Board.
